New ‘Art Of Dance’ Exhibit Opens at Gallery Main Street
The award for "Best in Show" was presented to Janet Morrison for her graphite work "Barefoot Dreams".
TYLER Gallery Main Street opened the new 'Art of Dance' exhibit Saturday with a reception that included "best of show" award, "living statues" and live music.
Eighteen works of art are featured in the exhibit, which will be on display in the gallery through Aug. 28. Sculpture, photography, oil and other media are represented. The works were selected for the exhibition by a jury panel and were judged on the degree to which they reflected the theme of the exhibition, as well as their individual artistic merit.
