Tyler Community Concert Association has scheduled 2012-2013 season


Collin Raye leads off in September.

— The Tyler Community Concert Association has scheduled the following performances for the 2012-2013 season:

Collin Raye, September 24, 2012, Singing soulful, heartfelt music with honesty & richness.

TAP, Oct 18, 2012, featuring eight dancers and two singers, this is powerful production celebrating tap-dancing from around the globe.

Boston Brass Nov. 13, 2012. This brass quintet is a unique musical experience known for jazz standards, classical arrangements and works from their original repertoire.

Masters of Motown, February 14, 2013. The ten-member cast salutes one of the greatest times in musical history by recreating an entire Motor City experience.

Prima Trio, March 21, 2013, Their repertoire ranges from chamber music to Glick’s festive “The Klezmer’s Wedding” with a grand finale being “Serenade” by American composer Peter Schickele, aka P.D.Q. Bach.

Jason Coleman, April 9, 2013, with his exciting and nostalgic performances, Jason Coleman highlights “The Legacy of Floyd Cramer.”

All concerts begin at 7:30, with doors opening at 6:30, at the Caldwell Auditorium, 300 South College, in Tyler.
